GJP project managed the promotion of an affordable housing development comprising 40 affordable dwellings with associated access, parking, landscaping and amenity space in Llandough. The site received approval at the Vale of Glamorgan Committee meeting in March 2019. The scheme was found to be in keeping with the aims of the LDP – through the development of an allocated housing site within settlement limits and was considered to be acceptable despite the higher density proposed. The development was also supported due to the provision of affordable housing which would meet an identified need – as evidenced through the Local housing Market Assessment and the Homes4U waiting list.
