Planning Permission and Conservation Area Consent Granted!

We are pleased to confirm that, following extensive discussions with the Local Planning Authority at Swansea Council, an application for the development of four detached dwellings in the grounds of Picket Mead House was granted approval at Planning Committee. Alongside this, Conservation Area Consent was also granted for an element of demolition works required in order to implement the scheme.

The approved scheme is to be accessed via an area of Common Land known as Picket Mead, with Common land consent for this element of the development to be sought separately. The application sought Permission for the development of four dwellings of a high-quality design, with the impact of the development on the Conservation Area and the existing Picket Mead House of key importance during the design stages. The approved development will provide additional high-quality dwellings to the area while respecting the site and its surroundings.
