GJP have recently secured full planning permission for the change of use of land at Lambourne Crescent, Llanishen from Sui Generis to Use Class B8, for the siting of 162 shipping containers of various sizes as self-storage containers.
The proposals were considered to respond to the economic vision and objectives of the Local Development Plan, by ensuring that a range and choice of employment land and premises are available across the city to assist economic competitiveness. The development would also promote the growth of indigenous business of all types and size, thereby attracting inward investment.
The development seeks to introduce a new employment use on an area of land allocated for B8 uses. The development would provide new employment opportunities in an established employment area, thereby integrating with its surroundings.
